About Me

All Mingus Union High School classes have been cancelled through March 27th, 2020.  Even though school is out of session, there is still important work that must be done before the end of the year.  Please visit this website every Monday that the school is closed to see a list of different activities, resources, and projects that students can do in order to move forward in the curriculum.

I will be checking my email (jteague@muhs.com) daily.  Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Mr. Teague

My name is Jason Teague, and this is my tenth year teaching Art at Mingus Union High School.  I am excited to start the new school year so that I may push my students into new realms of artistic exploration.

While I have real world art experience that I bring into the classroom, I am also a professional educator. I have achieved my B.A. in Art Education from the University of Southern Maine and my M.A. in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of school I lead an active life of juggling being a husband/father with my creative outlets. I am still a working Artist (specializing in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking) and an active musician(I play bass in a local band).
